Poetry in the Park

10 poets featured in HOWL New Irish Writing have been selected by Cork City Libraries to be part of the Poetry in the Park project in 2023. The poems will be printed on outdoor materials and installed in parks throughout Cork, including: Clogheenmilcon Walkway, Blarney; Jerry O’Sullivan Park, Harbour View Road; The Marina, Blackrock; Fitzgerald’s Park, City centre; Tramore Valley Park; Ballincollig regional Park. The poems will be available to view on your park walks from September 18th 2023.
The poets selected for the project are: John Liddy, Edel Hanley, Damien Donnelly, Bernie Crawford, Lorraine Carey, Matthew Geden, Michael Sheehan, Philip Davison, Molly Twomey & Luke Morgan, and Sinead McClure.
